Content Overview
The primary objective of this course is to educate workers on the best practices and safety procedures associated with forklift operation. Trainees will learn:
- The basic mechanics and components of a forklift
- Safe operating procedures, including starting, moving, loading, and unloading
- Techniques for performing tight turns while operating a forklift
- How to stack and de-stack a load at high level
- How to follow the “rules of the road” while operating a forklift
