Stratasys Announces Three New Colors Changing the Industry
3D colors so real you’ll never know it was created by a printer.
Tech-Labs' manufacturing partner, Stratasys, has been a leader in the 3D industry for over thirty years, so it makes sense that they would be the ones to create not one but three new color resin materials. The color resin materials are Agilus30™ Cyan, Agilus30 Magenta and Agilus30 Yellow and can be used for the Stratasys J7 and J8 Series of PolyJet 3D printers.
The Agilus30 materials allow designers to achieve a level of realism never before attained. Unlike other full-color models, these materials take rigid materials and allows them to have flexible, full-color modeling abilities with the exact shore value definition ability. Products will now be capable of having a much more realistic touch and flexibility. Some prints are so realistic that customers cannot even tell the difference between the prototype and the real item.
"We have seen amazing prints from our customers; models so realistic that it is hard to differentiate between those that were 3D printed to those that were real,” said Shamir Shoham, Vice President of Design for Stratasys. “These new materials open up countless opportunities, especially with our customers in the entertainment and consumer goods industries."
The J7 and J8 Series of 3D printers are designed for high-capacity, high-speed, multi-material prints for a variety of design and engineering applications. With the addition of the new Agilus Colors materials, designers can now create and print according to their specific business needs.
